About us

Mellman Pressler Test Prep was founded by local high school teachers who believe SAT preparation should be effective, personal, and accessible. We created Mellman Pressler to offer expert guidance from experienced educators in a small, supportive learning environment.

Our courses are taught by practicing teachers who work with high school students every day and understand both the SAT and the skills students need to succeed on it. With small class sizes, clear strategies, and plenty of opportunities for questions and feedback, students receive the kind of individual attention that large test-prep companies simply can’t provide.

We offer both in-person and online courses so students can prepare in the way that works best for them. By keeping our program focused and local, we’re able to provide high-quality instruction at a price that’s significantly more affordable than national test-prep companies—without compromising on results.
